Join Facebook Engineers at Nazarbayev University for an interactive workshop on React framework. React has changed how modern web applications are built. At Facebook we are making heavy use of React throughout all of our products and have taken the idea even further to build mobile applications and VR experiences using React.

In this workshop we are starting from scratch, showing you how to get started with your first React app. But we are not stopping here and look into new concepts like hooks, which were recently introduced and discuss dos and don’ts that help you to build a scalable application using best practices.

What do I need for the workshop?
We will be hands on throughout the workshop, so come ready with your laptop and charger. No prior knowledge of React is needed for the workshop.

Who can apply?

This programme is open to currently enrolled university students studying Computer Science or a related field. To apply for a spot at the workshop, please RSVP and complete the application form using the sign-up link below before the 24th February. Decisions on who has been invited will then be sent out on the 28th February.
